Dragons Camp Nou kit leaked...
Local paper Lindependant in Perpignan has leaked this mock up of the Catalans kit for the Camp Nou match with Wigan.
Regular Dragons will remember the last maroon and blue kit we had, and this one also looks a cracker.

Dragons launch third kit
With a bit of fanfare ahead of the Wakefield match, Catalans launched a new third/cup kit.
The two tone blue shirt is really smart and features a challenge cup logo on the bottom.
We believe a 4th new kit is landing in May for the Camp Nou match with Wigan.

So amongst the #newbeginnings escaped ferrets and snow, a game of rugby league broke out here between two of the sides expected to make a dent in the upper reaches of the Superleague in 2019.
I will admit to being cynical and expecting Dragons to lose by more on the basis of (1) it was cold and (2) it was away from home.
However from my spies at the game and the highlights above it was clear that this wasn't quite the steamrollering we usually get in these opening rounds a long way from home.
The game was preambled by Sam Tomkins comments about visiting Cas and whilst I think they were taken out of context so whilst I understand what he was trying to say (It was supposed to be a compliment of sorts!), it fired up the home fans.
To some extent it detracted from Samkins debut and he will look at the Greg Eden try where he was beaten for pace on the outside as an area to work on.
Dragons will have definitely missed Greg Bird and that experience was shown in a number of key areas of the match at important points.
In the style of Catalans of old, were were too far behind before starting to rally, although it's encouraging to see us trying to move the point of attack from centres to edges to wings. I hope that's a foresight into the coming season and a desire to entertain a bit more than some of the fayre we endured in 2018.
I am not surprised that we lost the game. Castleford are one of the best sides at home, but its clear there are things to work on and improvements to be made.

Tomkins stars as Dragons beat Presidents XII
Three assists (maybe more if you count the pass before the scoring pass) was a brilliant return as Sam Tomkins made his Catalans bow on Friday evening.
With David Mead in try scoring form outside Tomkins there was plenty to admire in the attacking play if still some head shaking moments in defence.

After his recovery from injury on England duty, Sam Tomkins has started work with his new Dragons team mates for the 2019 season.
There were plenty of other familiar faces amongst those having a run out on the Stade Gilbert Brutus pitch. All looked happy and focused, and they will need to be with Catalans amongst the favourites for honours again next season.
Rather than easing the pressure, Tomkins has cranked it up by saying he wants us to become perennial winners going forward.

Dragons release 2019 kits (Updated with O'neills launch video)
The Irish manufacturer has taken over from long term supplier ISC. For me this is the nicest kit since the second one the club had all those years ago.
I am a traditionalist so the inclusion of a proper button collar is very welcome indeed. The famous Sang-et-Or is well used and despite those who will compare our home kit to St Helens, I feel they are different enough to stand out.
The away kit is a nice departure from some of the terrible colour combinations we had in the latter days of ISC. Blue and Salmon anyone ?
So... which of the two will I be buying tomorrow when the online store opens?
Probably both !
