Knives sharpened for Dragons after season ends with yet another defeat

"That's all folks..."

Season 2019 has ended (thankfully) with another defeat on Friday evening. This time it was Huddersfield Giants who beat us to ensure their Superleague status.

London Broncos were relegated as a result of that and a number of other results elsewhere in the competition.

To be fair this was a slightly better performance by the Dragons, but with the play offs gone, this was a result with the pressure gone. Along with Leeds, we were the only team with nothing to play for in the last round of the season.

There were still individual errors that led to points however and if we'd been in a position to compete at the top of the table, these could have been costly.

As it was they just contributed to an end of season that has struggled to get to the level of mediocre.

Huddersfield Giants (10) 24

T : Louis Senior 4, Jermaine McGillvary
G : Jake Wardle 2

Dragons Catalans (14) 22

T : Lewis Tierney 2, Arthur Mourgue
G : Sam Tomkins 5

Its over, that's the positive and we will start our review and analysis in due course and once the dust has settled.

It won't be pretty though I have to say...
