After a low key start to our season at Castleford last week, the Dragons got up and running against Huddersfield at the Gilbert Brutus.

After going behind early on the Dragons took control and built a match winning lead thanks to quick fire Brayden Williame scores.

The Giants were playing a physical game with a couple of challenges to the neck area including one to Matt Whitley.

It was nice to get out of the game with minimal injury and the two points.

There is still plenty to work on, but the defence looked solid and the attacking lines were starting to gel.

One area of concern was the body language of Tony Gigot, who might played on the peripheral of the game and might be looking down to Australia with rumours he is being lined up as Ben Barba's replacement.
