With revenue non-existent and more than the usual number of away trips to the United Kingdom to contend with, the club has been indicating that finances are going to be tight going forward.
There is some positive news in the form of potential support from the French government and the outline of a TV deal with L'Equipe, but until that's all in the bank we have to budget for what we have.
Top of the list of names on the way out is David Mead who Treize Mondial indicate had been offered to a number of Super League clubs before the impending end of his contract.
Mead joined after impressing in the last RLWC and has been solid during his time in Perpignan.
The other name being touted as heading out sooner rather than later is Remi Casty.
He is a club legend but with a couple of English forwards coming in to the club, is there a place for him in the line up? He would be quite expensive to be a squad player you would think.
Could be a tough few weeks...
