Jodie Broughton was the hero of the hour, potentially saving the job of a coach who has told him that he has no job come the end of the season.

The wonders of modern sport eh?

Broughton bagged a hat-trick with two of them steading the nerves of the Dragons before the interval.

They were able to go on and run away with the game in the second half.

It was welcome relief for a club under pressure after a potentially season ending run of consecutive defeats.

There will be those who point to returning players aiding the cause, and of course that is a factor. Although something has definitely been said behind the scenes. Players who were bang out of form suddenly sprung to life and put in a shift.

It was fantastic to watch and the weekend always feels better after a win.

So for now we will leave the Gigot contract, coaching situation and under performing star signings to one side and just enjoy what we have.

Enjoy the week Dragons fans.
